Currently we have opportunities for Assistant Store Management staff. The Assistant Manager is an entry-level management position.

Summary:

The Assistant Manager is the entry-level store management position. Assistant Managers assist the Store Manager and Associate Store Manager in driving sales and supervising sales staff. Also assists the Associate Store Manager and Store Manager in scheduling duties, timekeeping functions, payroll control, and recruiting and interviewing Sales Associates.

Responsibilities:

Sales focus on the floor and coaching and training of the store staff.

Working through corporate generated training, selling and compliance programs and ensuring their administration/compliance.

Provides coverage of cahier duties and sales floor service.

Assists the Store manager/Associate Store Manager in daily operational practices.

Assists the Store Manager/Associate Store Manager with daily paperwork and cash control procedures.

Acts as a liaison between Store Manager and staff. Implements directives as assigned by the Store Manager.

Assists the Store Manager/Associate Store Manager in recruiting Sales Associates. Assists the Associate Store Manager with screening interviews for Sales Associates on behalf of the Store Manager.

Assists the Store Manager/Associate Store Manager in managing the payroll and scheduling responsibilities.

Enforces basic visual standards and directives.

Utilizes company provided tools to create a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment for the customer.

Requirements:

1-2 years retail experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Strong interpersonal skills, leadership potential, basic selling skills/techniques and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.

Basic PC skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, past cashiering experience and familiarity with email applications.

Previous experience in retail management preferred.

Past experience with had line sales preferred.

Post High School education preferred.
