Description


Position Responsibilities:


Strategically manage, source, negotiate and perform contract administration for goods and services that are required by the business.
Provide procurement support for the identification of sources, negotiation, processing and approval of purchase orders up to assigned dollar amount, within assigned commodities.
Preparation and administration of the daily flow of required purchasing documents, which includes entering purchase orders into SAP.
Design and maintain appropriate files for quotes and purchase orders.
Coordinate and effectively communicate with suppliers, requisitioners and other internal stakeholders on utilizing all forms of communications regarding technical and non-technical issues surrounding goods and services requirements.
Formulate short-term and long-term strategies to ensure quality, cost competitive practices and sound procurement processes are adhered to and enhanced where appropriate.
Perform all other related management and procurement responsibilities and functions as assigned

Qualifications


Skills Required:


Undergraduate degree in either business management or engineering.
Strong understanding and knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures and best business practices.
Defined competencies in working within a B2B/SAP Enterprise Resource Planning environment supported by strong procurement process skills.
Strong computer and system program skills.
Excellent analytical problem solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
Possesses ability to interact with all levels of management, suppliers and team members.
Proven and tested problem solving and decision making abilities.
Strict compliance with confidentiality of company and suppliers’ information and data.
