District Manager

The Finish Line, Inc., is the parent company of: Finish Line, a leader in the athletic footwear, apparel and accessories industry, Man Alive, a leader in the hip-hop apparel industry, and the recently launched Paiva, featuring upscale athletic apparel, footwear and accessories for women.





We are currently seeking District Managers to complement our Finish Line team. These positions will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all aspects of store operations within a specific geographical region. District Managers serve as the primary link between the corporate office and individual stores. Responsibilities for the District Manager role will include, but not be limited to:





- Select, train and develop Store Managers,


- Visit stores (requiring frequent travel) to ensure that they are complying with all Company policies and guidelines


- Monitor the performance of all stores in the district maximizing each store's sales potential


- Monitor and control all expenses in the district


- Communicate with the Regional Vice President, as well as corporate departments


- Ensure compliance from Store Managers


- Periodically evaluate performance of all Store Managers in the district





Qualifications:





- A minimum of 3-5 years of multi-unit retail management is preferred, but extensive experience as a store manager in a high volume retail store will also be considered


- Proven success in recruiting and retaining top talent


- Ability to travel 3-4 days per week


- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
