Responsibilities
Implements the company's master product adjacency strategy into the many stores types within the company, adjusting for size constraints, SKU differences and various fixture types. Assures that fixtures and merchandising meet company standards by creating and following daily action plans throughout the projects. Manages, leads and trains merchandising teams on the proper techniques of merchandising in order to execute new stores, remodels, relocations and expansion projects. Supervises personnel in the implementation of interior store design, insuring floor layouts are consistent and the highest quality of merchandising standards are met. Installs fixtures and displays. Assures layout creates a clean and safe working environment for store associates and our customers. Provides guidance and supervision to store associates assigned to project team as required to complete store merchandising projects. Verifies that all outside services are in place to complete store merchandising projects. Assists fellow supervisor when overseeing project.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Proven supervisory and leadership experience in the areas of delegation and follow-up
Available to travel away from home for extended periods of time on a continual basis
Must be able to manage personal finances while traveling for the Company through qualification/use of Company credit card or similar method of managing travel related expenses
Forklift certified preferred
Proven talents in the skills of merchandising techniques
Ability to meet company deadlines
Mechanically inclined and have had exposure to multiple fixture types
Comprehensive knowledge of all areas of store operations
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Basic knowledge of construction
Familiar with city and state life safety and seismic regulations

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Strong communication skills
Skilled in the operation of power equipment and power tools
Proven current or former Store Manager
