We are currently looking for experienced supply chain professionals with various backgrounds and skill-sets who are available on a project basis.

Ideal candidates will possess:

*Formal Director or VP title or acted in a Sr. level generalist role
*Fortune 500 or 1000 background
*A minimum of 10 years experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm or with the a large company
*Project management and client relationship management experience
*Functional and implementation expertise with Supply Chain Management systems
*Ability to work effectively as part of team
*Excellent communication and presentation skills
*Organized and focused

In addition, have expertise in one of the following areas:

*Strategic sourcing experience
*Contracts management experience
*Specific commodity or services expertise
*Analytical expertise
*Inventory management
*Logistics, transportation, distribution, etc.
*Functional expertise with Supply Chain Management systems

Specific types of project roles include:

Strategic Sourcing Experience
*Demonstrated ability to develop and implement commodity and services sourcing strategies which yield measurable reductions in spend.
*Ability to lead and direct sourcing teams in identifying, communicating and implementing sourcing strategies and Supply Chain Management best practices.
*Ability to effectively utilize third party spend data in identifying spend reduction opportunities.
*Strong leadership and influencing abilities.
*Superior mentoring/employee development skills.

Contracts Management Experience
*Demonstrated ability to develop, write, negotiate, execute and administer contracts for projects, commodities and services.
*Successful record in developing and driving contracting strategies.
*Ability to analyze existing contracts and identify spend reduction, spend leveraging and other value-add opportunities.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability and willingness to work effectively on contracting teams.

Supply Chain Subject Matter Experts
*Expert knowledge and experience with commodities and services
*Expert knowledge of SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Ariba, etc. in Procurement, Materials Management Reverse Auctions, etc.
*Project implementation in above systems a plus.
*Strong leadership and influencing abilities.
