Job Description:

Dillard's is currently seeking a Cosmetic Counter Manager. This position is directly responsible for the management of a number of Beauty Advisors and a continually increasing sales volume within an assigned product line. The Cosmetic Counter Manager will set goals with employees and track daily, weekly, and monthly sales to ensure that all goals are met on time. In addition, the Counter Manager will manage in-stock levels, maintain overall counter presentation standards and will be responsible for planning and hosting cosmetic events at their counter. A Counter Manager is expected to focus heavily on building clientele and establishing and maintaining client books.
br>This position also requires a positive, energetic, sales-oriented personality. The ability to approach customers, build and close sales and establish a continually growing client base is required. Candidate must be able to multi-task. Tending to customers needs, maintaining the sales floor and retaining a proficient knowledge of inventory are key factors to success in this highly competitive environment. Experience in basic merchandising, departmental operations and retail presentation standards is also required. Prior experience in the public sector is helpful.
