Associate SQA Engineer

Major Responsibilities:


Ability to give accurate status to the rest of the group on daily activities. Works well with the other members of the team. Communicates well with other members of the team. Takes direction from more senior members of the team and is able to perform the tasks according to specification. Able to present simple concepts to the rest of the QA group during QA meetings. Able to write clearly about relevant work products, for example, QA plans, strategies, defects, problem descriptions and status reports. Ability to appropriately use e-mail, IM, Seibel, Perforce, code comments, diagrams and other vehicles to facilitate productive communication.





Position Requirements and Education: 0-2+ years of relevant experience. Basic knowledge of either an automation language (e.g. Perl, Rational Visual Test, Python, etc.) or a structured programming language (Visual Basic, C++, Java). Previous Internationalization/Localization testing experience would be helpful. Ability to install Localized Operating Systems & Databases


Must have experience across Windows, Linux, Solaris, AIX & HP-UX


Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Candidate should have QA experience in i18n or L10n
