Emergent Game Technologies is seeking a creative, talented and experienced software engineer to design and help implement state of the art, flexible and modular game development tools that will change the face of the game development industry. This individual will be responsible for designing, building, testing and documenting software tools for next-generation consoles and PCs for use in conjunction with Emergent's industry-leading Gamebryo product. Experience with multiple game development tools is required, along with strong C++ and communication skills.





Candidates must have:





5+ years of professional C++ development experience

Extensive knowledge of the game development process and pipeline tools

Solid knowledge of 3D graphics

Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Strong professional work ethic and ability to work as part of a geographically distributed team

BSCS or equivalent


Valued Skills:





Experience using and/or extending 3ds max, Maya, and/or XSI.

Experience designing and building custom game development tools

MMO development experience

Previous console development experience (PS3, Xbox360, PS2, Xbox)
