IT ANALYST III

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILTIES:

· Responsible for the evaluation of business requirements for enterprise
business application development, integration, service activation, and/or
delivering new or modified software systems enhancements and/or integration
solutions.
· Responsible for organizing and conducting requirements sessions, business
analysis and information technology processes
· Participates in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support
of system requirements.
· Identifies customer requirements, develops test schedules, reviews testing
plans, and tracks and documents the development and results of these plans.
· Alerts project managers to potential risks and issues of importance. Makes
recommendations to transfer, accept or mitigate risks.
· Leads structured sessions to uncover client requirements
· Directs contractors and third party suppliers to produce project deliverables.
· Mentors more junior analysts.


QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required (may be
substituted with four years additional experience in relevant analytical
activities); MBA preferred.
· Six years of general business analysis experience required
· Five or more years of project analysis experience required.
· Excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication, and organizational skills
· Four years of IT related experience
· Ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable
to the business.
· The ability to mentor mid-career staff in developing insurance systems
competencies.
· Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
· Demonstrated track record in new concept development for a variety of projects
and complex technical plans.
· Ability to multi-task within flexible working environment.
