IT PRODUCT MANAGER III
Job Description:
IT Product Manager III Document Management (IT Maintain Services)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide Subject Matter expertise in the areas of Document Management, Imaging,
Scanning, Production printing, Barcode, Inserting and Postal Presorting
applications.
· Provide day-to day "on request" support for IT co-workers, clients, Technical
Partners and Vendors in the form of operational questions and product direction.
· Lead and work on small efforts that are deemed to be an operational outage
(severity 1 and 2), fix or small enhancement.
· Manage day to day operations and participate in production problem resolution.
· Through Subject Matter Expertise delegate resources from technical team to
Project and Enhancement development efforts as necessary.
· Establish and facilitate technical design reviews, approvals, and turnover
process for deliverables supported by the technical and operations team.
· Manage invoice approval, budget and variance reporting for products supported.
· Point of contact for vendors providing technical solutions for products
supported.
· Represent products supported in IT internal audit processes.
· Management of off-shore and on-shore technical resources
· Management of relationships with all levels of I.T. and Business Management
· Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
· BS or BA degree in computer science, business, or related technical field
desirable.
Minimum of 10 years of IT experience in business systems analysis or equivalent
or business unit experience that includes working with IT and other stakeholders
in developing and implementing systems and technologies.
7+ years Financial services, or related industry experience preferred (some
combination of Insurance or financial services, automotive services, and/or
travel services).
· 7 + years experience with a majority of the following software: .NET Exstream,
Global 360, Nearstar, Viewstar, BlueServer, Crystal Reports, Finalist, First
Logic, Oracle, SQL Server, Mainframe, XML, Microsoft, Active Directory
· Working knowledge of IBM Websphere, Sun Solaris, J2EE I Series
· 7 + years experience developing Total Cost of Ownership involving Profit and
Loss calculation reconciliation and analysis
· 7+ years responsibility of Budget and P&L experience
7+ years experience in managing external vendor relationships
· 7+ years in a customer facing role with ownership of budget, resources and
resolution of I.T. and business operations.
· Proven background in managing technical staff that are critical to the
direction and success of business initiatives.
· Demonstrated skill in conceptualizing creative solutions involving technology
and business processes.
· Consultative skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
· Proven background in organizational and time management.
· Proven ability to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives.
· Proven ability to act in an independent manner with a wide variety of business
managers, as well as external vendors and consultants.
