Job Description


Web Developer, Java Developer, Analysis, Design, Development, Test and Support of complex Java/J2EE systems. Use Rational and IBM tools to translate use cases to design and implement in a J2EE environment. Troubleshoot and maintain mission-critical, complex web environments. Apply best-practices and development patters to new and existing code. Operate at an extremely high technical level, mentoring less experienced persoonel and take direction from managers and senior members.
- 6 years of JSP Development, 4 years of JSP Custom tags, 2 years Struts and Tiles development, 6 years of javascript/ HTML / CSS
- 4 years of WebSphere Studio App Developer and Application Server
- 2 years of experience with clear case
- 6 years of overall J2EE development experience
- 2 years of UNIX
- 2 years of XML (configuration and parsing)
- Must be knowledgable and having working experience in SQL and database design
- Experience with managing/working large systems and using existing frameworks is a plus
- Must have a strong communication and be able to perform self-directed work given business requirements.
- Needs to have ability to mentor junior staff members
- Sun Certified Java / Web Component Developer a plus
