Description


Analyst, Info Technology-Sr This position is for a Senior Information Technology Analyst who will design, develop for and support a large, highly integrated, multi-tiered, object-oriented computer system. The in-house developed application enables the business processes associated with customers transporting gas on the Southern Natural Gas pipelines. This position will require the ability and experience to conceptualize, design and develop technical solutions to business problems.

Analyst, Info Technology-Sr Key Behaviors:Communication skills to effectively articulate specifications and design ideas to team members and internal customers.Interpersonal skills to foster effective working relationships with customer groups and peers.Strong system analytical skills Technology Skills/ExperienceClient/server experience on several business projects from beginning to end.BS/BA in Computer Science, Math, EE or relevant technical equivalency.2-5 years of development experience in a client/server environment using relational databases (SQL), object oriented methodology, and Web or GUI development/reporting toolsExperience in producing reusable code that can be leveraged in future projectsExperience in object and data modeling for business sytems Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, C++ (middle tier coding), Object Oriented Design & Programming, C#, Visual Studio .NET, and Oracle/SQL Server.
