Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The System Analyst's primary duty is implementation of projects for external customers. The implementation of these projects may include but is not limited to analysis, system design, project management, programming, technical support, training, and communication. Additional duties also involve on-site travel for consulting, training, equipment setup, support or troubleshooting.



The System Analyst will be expected to become proficient in all supported Managed Care modules and any future released Managed Care modules.



Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

(E) 3 Conduct a Project Assessment Visit at client site to prepare the client for the implementation, establish realistic expectations and define the scope for the project.

(E) 5 Analyze the client's business workflows and define the system to meet their needs.

(E) 5 Assist in the definition and documentation of specifications for file layouts, vertex templates, etc. and communicate the design to both the client and personnel.

(E) 5 Assist in the creation of a project schedule that meets the requirements of both the client and personnel.

(E) 10 Assist in the delivery of a comprehensive Implementation Plan to the client that will serve as a guide and an official agreement on project scope.

(E) 5 Monitor the progress of the project.

(E) 5 Provide support to personnel during the development and configuration phase.

(E) 10 Program vertex templates, master file lookups, ocr and export files.

(E) 10 Provide internal quality assurance for all vertex templates, master file lookups and export files.

(E) 5 Assist in the planning, coordination and direction of on-site activities during the installation of the system.

(E) 10 Support client on-site during the kick-off of their testing phase by conducting the appropriate System Creation and Project Team Training.

(E) 10 Coordinate the resolution of testing issues.

(E) 10 Support client on-site during their implementation Go-Live.

(E) 2 Ensure a successful client transition from Implementation to Support.

Required Skills:



" Must be detail oriented, responsible, self-motivated and goal centered

" Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills

" Ability to positively represent Company in front of client personnel

" Ability to coordinate internal and external resources to complete project tasks

" Familiarity with pcs and client-server applications (networking skills a plus)




Preferred Education, Work Experience and Skills:



" Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree

" Masters of Business Administration a plus

" Project management experience implementing client-server applications/software products

" Background in the imaging industry or with imaging applications helpful

" Background in Healthcare a plus




Other Considerations:



" Travel is required as necessary for the successful completion of duties. Estimated travel is 50%, but at times requires travel several weeks in a row.
