Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related Information Technology fields, or related work experience. Three years experience with UNIX systems in production environment, which includes shell programming, storage management, user administrations, performance monitoring and tuning, software installs and upgrades, and troubleshooting. Extensive knowledge of HP hardware and software, including HP-UX11, other common HP utilities to provide highly reliable computer system functions. HP/AIX/SUN Certification a plus.



Skills and Abilities
Relatively high level of analytical ability required in order to find solutions to difficult human, technical, or administrative problems. Frequently working independently although occasionally working with employees on planning or coordinating on projects or problems, and etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed in order to maintain relationships with internal contacts and maintaining tactful in securing information or resolving difficult situations.
