You will be developing and validating software solutions for growing WLAN, WiMAX, and UWB wireless market. You will have the opportunity to develop test programs for various chipset companies, ODM's and OEM's on a worldwide basis.


Key Job Responsibilities:



Design, develop and validate calibration and validation software for WLAN, WiMax, Bluetooth, Cellular, and other wireless technologies.


Work closely with chipset companies, ODM's and OEM's to provide software test solutions.


Effectively communicate and defend your design in code reviews.


Perform build, release, installation, and documentation duties to deploy the software.


Qualifications:



BSEE/BSCS or MSEE/MSCS (Desired)


Able to operate a spectrum analyzer and RF power meter.


Experience with calibrating and verifying transceivers.


5 years working knowledge of C/C++. Ability to learn new languages.


Knowledge of object oriented programming concepts and design.


Experience in device driver development and debugging.


Working knowledge of Windows GUI, MATLAB, LabView, and Linux.


Excellent troubleshooting, analysis and problem solving skills.


Ability to self manage his/her time and complete multiple projects.


Ability to work and travel across geographical boundaries.


Experience with WLAN chipsets either as a development or field application engineer desired.


Experience writing and supporting test programs for RF transceivers desired.


Position is located in Sunnyvale, California. Candidates from other geographies also considered.
