Call Center Representative

OUTBOUND CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVES NEEDED!!

ABR Employment Services is currently seeking applicants for Loan Counselors in the Madison area. Main responsibilities include calling student loan borrowers who are 60 or more days
past due on their student loan payments. Loan Counselors try to help borrowers meet their loan obligations through payment and/or other arrangements. Calls are placed using an autodialer, which removes the need for the representative to place calls manually.
Training will be provided.
This is a Try-Before-Hire position.
POSITION HOURS: 40 hours per week on a preset rotating schedule that includes Monday-Thursday: 12:30p-9:00p, 2-3 Fridays per month (8a-4:30p); approximately 1 Saturday per month (8a - 4:30p); approximately 1 Sunday per month (5p - 9p). Hours may change due to business needs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualified applicants will have a strong background in customer service work. Must have a pleasant telephone voice and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Previous collections experience is helpful. Candidates are evaluated on work quality and quantity.
Candidates are also expected to maintain satisfactory attendance and timelines. All hired applicants must be able to work the required hours, these shifts/hours are not flexible.
