BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH IS A PLUS $$$
Positions are available throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan area: Scottsdale, Tempe Mesa, and Central Phoenix.
Installs, disconnects, reconnects, adds, changes, and troubleshoots video services at customer locations. Educates customers regarding their existing and new services, informs them about other Cox services, and proposes solutions to customer problems. Describes the advantages of and sells additional Cox services to customers. Drives Company vehicle between office, warehouse, and work sites. Works outside on customer's premises or within customer's home. Works on regularly scheduled days as well as unscheduled days and beyond regular work hours, as required. Reports to a Field Service Supervisor.
Plans daily route, requisitions equipment and supplies, and stocks vehicle; maintains company truck. Determines customer's current service levels, inquires into customer preferences and needs, and recommends company service upgrades or additional products. Resolves customer complaints. Installs, tests, and troubleshoots Cox services from tap to TV. Uses small hand tools, power tools, meters, and other test equipment. Educates customers in the use of installed products. Explains waivers, agreements, customer release forms, charges and billing procedures. Completes work orders and other documentation on paper or by using a truck-mounted or mobile computer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid AZ driver's license with 2 or fewer moving violations.
No DUI within the past 7 years.
Experience and/or education in electronics, construction, cable, telephony or other related field a plus.
Effective verbal communication skills and neat appearance.
Mechanical / electronics aptitude and stable work history a plus.
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.
