We are currently seeking an FIRMWARE ENGINEER with 5+ years of experience in applications development and support, preferably in video related products. In this role, you will become a member of our well respected engineering team to support RF-to-baseband products. You will be responsible for:
* Integrating, optimizing, debugging and testing real-time algorithms with assembly code targeted for a microprocessor embedded in a mixed signal transceiver.
* The development of high-level software tools such as Graphical User Interface on a PC platform (Windows) to control the application.
The successful candidate will be proficient at coding in assembly with a good knowledge of microcontroller architecture and be familiar with debugging tools such as emulators.
The qualified candidate must also show strong knowledge in object-oriented programming, possess good knowledge of signal processing algorithms and have a solid background in Electrical Engineering.
Additional requirements for this position are as follows:
* Master in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of applicable industry.
* Strong experience in embedded microcontroller (MIPS/ARM) assembly programming and debugging for real-time operations.
* Strong experience in developing GUI applications for Windows OS (Visual C++,/Borland C++,/Delphi)
* Good knowledge of signal processing.
* Good written and verbal computing skills.
* Ability to work in a relatively small company with other engineering disciplines.
