GSM/GPRS SW Test Engineer
Test and deployment engineer for Danger's wireless carrier customers
GSM/GPRS Software Test Engineer
We are seeking a GSM/GPRS Engineer to perform as a test and deployment engineer for our World Wireless Carrier customers.
Responsibilities
Everything related to deploying a GSM/GPRS handset and service including drive testing, reporting bugs, providing logs, recommending solutions
Working with our US development team as well as contact with a variety of supporting engineering groups around the world
Qualifications
Experience in wireless communication technologies including GSM, GPRS, CDMA or other digital communication techniques
Experience with diagnostics software, driver software, host interface software, radio frequency (RF) hardware and analog hardware
Experience with test processes, procedures, and practices including test planning, lab planning, test execution, test automation, diagnostic data collection, bug identification, bug tracking, de-bugging techniques, etc
Knowledge and experience with product certification bodies including PTCRB, FTA, FCC, etc
