Position: Hardware Design Engineer


Location: San Jose, CA





Hardware Design Engineer. The Hardware Design Engineer will work as part of a project team to design, debug, and verify VHDL code. The Engineer should be able to understand system requirements and be able to assist the project team in documenting designs. Will Design, simulate and troubleshoot FPGAs using VHDL. Will work with FW/SW engineers to develop and troubleshoot products. Qualifications: 1) Must have minimum 5 years FPGA/ASIC design experience in SDH/SONET technology. 2) Preferred Virtual concatenation and LCAS FPGA/ASIC design experience. 3) Experience with FPGA/PLD (Altera, Xilinx) designs is preferred. 4) Required tools: Orcad, Synplicity, Modelism, Xilinx, Altera. 5) Familiarity with telecommunications networking technologies is preferred.
