Job Title: Manager, National Accounts (Indirect) - Achieve More from your Career!





Achieve More as a Manager, National Accounts (Indirect ) ! At T-Mobile our leaders drive the effort to develop and expand market opportunities for T-Mobile products and services by securing, maintaining and enhancing relationships with independent consumer / wireless retailers. The Manager, National Accounts is expected to handle all aspects of assigned accounts for T-Mobile including meeting and exceeding all operation and performance objectives. He / She will maintain direct responsibility for all sales / operational issues pertaining to assigned accounts including sales, financial and commission reporting, inventory control, planning and budgeting support, and ensuring all contracts and agreements are up to date and in compliance with terms and conditions. The Manager, National Accounts (Indirect) focus is to provide consistent leadership, management and oversight to large master dealers, multi-market sale partners of local dealers and T-Mobile Indirect Sales Personnel, within a defined geographical area. They will also be responsible for assuring successful execution of all new channel sells through strategies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


5+ years experience in outside wireless sales (Indirect) preferred


Strong Sales Management experience as it relates to marketing, advertising, retail store acquisition and leasing.


Solid understanding of business operations.


Proven track record in developing, training and motivating a successful professional sales team.


Assuring all indirect operational policies are executed as envisioned.


Act as point of contact for Divisional Sales and Marketing questions from other shared functions.


Oversight and assurance that Co-Op and MDF (Market Development Funds) guidelines are understood and followed.


Assures responsiveness on dealer A/R balances and bad debt issues.


Sales Inventory forecasting, product allocation management


Brand and Merchandising Oversight and Support.


Planning and budgeting.


Financial Analysis and Management Decision Support.


Commissions Administration.


Competitive intelligence and proactive communication on environmental changes.

NETWORK OF CONTACTS:


Manage other cross-functional areas in support of Indirect sales, expense, and financial objectives. Shared functions include marketing, customer service, IT, logistics and warehousing. The Manager, National Accounts will be the key interface, as well as the 'eyes and ears' for corporate in the field in terms of interfacing with these departments.





Primary internal contacts would include Training and Communications Manager, Channel Development Manager, Business Finance Manager, Merchandising Manager and Project Manager and more...





ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:


Candidate should have at least eight (5) years of sales/operations related experience in a management role.


Prior experience in retail and indirect channels distribution strategy development and implementation.


A demonstrated track record of results in major retail account penetration and support. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or other relevant four (4) year degree or same amount of wireless experience in the field.





<b>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


The successful candidate will need to possess a successful retail/dealer sales operations and indirect channel distribution background, coupled with general management experience gained within the high technology industry (i.e. telecommunications, wireless, etc.) that sells products, services, and/or business solutions to the business and retail market. Wireless industry experience is a strong plus.


Must be comfortable working in a hands-on, highly engaged organizational environment. Should expect a fast moving and dynamic, high growth environment and demonstrate a high degree of flexibility with a high bias for action. Must be entrepreneurial!


A demonstrated history of personnel and business expansion performance success. Strong verbal and written communication skills.


Demonstrated background in working closely with sales, marketing and other functional teams and areas while achieving results.

Willingness to travel as required by the position (minimum of 50 - 70%).
