Marketing Analyst - Telecommunications Software

Successful company with a proven track record spanning over 30 years of technology development, sales, and solution deployment in worldwide Fortune 1000 Companies is searching for a Marketing Analyst. Amongst the various responsibilities, this individual will have the primary responsibility of analyzing and converting industry, marketing and sales activities to functional requirements for future development and sales activities.

What you will be doing:

* Conduct competitive analyses as input into marketing campaigns, sales tools and product requirements
* Assist the marketing manager and sales team by conducting market segment analyses to assess strong opportunities and identify qualified leads
* Track news and press releases by competitor
* Work with sales team on tracking competitive marketing campaigns and pricing strategies
* Work with sales team to articulate customized solutions in accordance to customer needs
* Identify, analyze and/or propose and implement solutions to current or future business challenges
* Assist, participate and/or lead in product management

What skills are needed to apply:

* Bachelor's degree or higher degree in business administration or marketing
* 3-5 years of experience in marketing for the telecommunications industry is required.
* Knowledge of telecommunication voice network architecture and network elements are desired
* Ability to combine analytical thinking with creatively developing solutions
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Strong Computer Skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
* Works well with cross functional operations
* Positive attitude, self starter, high energy, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
* Ability to analyze organizational marketing needs for Sales, Services and Business Operations
