Microwave Cellular Technician

Microwave and Cellular Radio Technician based in several locations in Wyoming and Colorado (corporate office in Mountain View, Wyoming; other job locations available). Union Telephone Company has an opening for a radio technician to install, test, monitor, maintain and operate transmission systems and auxiliary systems including tower and antenna maintenance along with shelter inspections in relation to cellular communications.
Essentional duties and abilities are described below:
Proficiency to install and maintain the following types of equipment:
? Nortel 800mhz TDMA cell site equipment
? Nortel S12000 and S8000
? 850 and 1900mhz GSM base stations,
? Batteries and power supplies (including solar systems) and generators
? Alcatel radios
? NEC radios
? Avantek radios
? Spread spectrum radios
? Radio repeater equipment
? Tellular units
? Superconductors
? Channel banks
? Multiplexers (including lightwave)
? Network synchronization equipment
? Span termination equipment, span repeater equipment, paging systems, satellite systems,
two way systems
? Have working knowledge of program routers
? Possess a good networking background
Salary depends on experience and the range is $17.00 to $23.00 hourly. A full benefits package with 401k matched, annual bonus, vacation, sick, holiday pay.
2-6 years recent, continuous microwave/cellular RF technician experience
or combination of equivalent experience and training
Associates Degree in electronic technology and/or
FCC license required
