As a Regional Development Trainer- Business Sales, you will conduct core training side by side with leadership from the channel. Regional Development Centers (RDC) will serve as primary locations for instructor-led classes. These locations will serve as centers from which to build strategic partnerships with channel leadership.



Job responsibilities:


· Co- facilitates classes with Regional- level managers.


· Clarifies and reinforces training initiatives for front- line managers and sales employees beyond the traditional four- walls of the training class through distance learning.


· On The Job Training (OJT) and coaching - helping make the workplace the classroom.


· Assist in building the region by addressing and bridging gaps in knowledge, competency and skills throughout the respective markets.


· Delivers workshops to Regional- level managers and coaches them in their roles as facilitators and trainers.


· Coaches for content and skill improvement at the front line manager and/or sales employee level.


· Facilitate training utilizing a variety of delivery formats, including traditional Instructor- led training, co- facilitation and virtual classes and OJT.


· Work through approved- development processes to create tools or training solutions for field related issues/problems.


· Act as a SME and point of contact resource for the sales field and as a content reviewer for the Instructional Design Team as requested



Qualifications:


· Thorough understanding of Adult Learning Principles.


· Ability to model values of the organization


· Effective presentation skills


· Excellent leadership and organizational skills.


· Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.


· Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast- paced environment.


· Ability to work effectively with a team as well as independently.


· Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed.



Education and Experience:


· Must have 2 + years outside sales experience ideally in the wireless/telecommunications industry. This is a requirement.


· 1 to 2 years sales and leadership training experience highly desirable.


Knowledge of the " 7 steps to sale" and/or Miller Heiman sales process.



Bachelor's Degree in an applicable discipline required.


· Excellent presentation skills.


· Effective management of group process and dynamics, including the ability to manage group conflict.


· Good working knowledge of MS Office applications, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook .


· Ability to facilitate learning to diverse audiences with a variety of leadership/learning styles.
