DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for all aspects of personnel staffing for vessels. Verifies all crew credentials, training, medical and drug card requirements are current. Coordinates crew travel to and from the vessel. Understands union contracts and regulatory requirements. Assists in the development of crewing and crew travel budgets. Reports manpower and work utilization as required. Prepares and maintains all personnel records in coordination with other company departments. May assist in resolving crewmember union grievances, may require travel to multiple locations.

REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent, with course work after high school and job-related training or Associates degree preferred. 2 - 3 years related experience in a similar position. Advanced computer skills and strong organizational skills. Excellent communications skills, both written and oral. Frequent direct contact with crew members and operations personnel. Some out of office visits to vessels located dockside with ability to climb stairs and move in cramped spaces aboard tug. Ability to work overtime, job may require phone calls at night or on weekends. Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines. Must comply with all work rules, including those that pertain to safety and health.
