Merchandise Flow Planner

Responsible for planning high volume inbound product flow and to coordinate movement to customers in a timely and efficient manner. Requires close coordination with our Buying Department to ensure that all necessary instructions are obtained and any special requirements are satisfied. Also responsible for all time sensitive materials and ensuring on time delivery at the lowest possible cost. Emphasis is placed on the merchandise receipt budget and the warehouse labor needs relative to the budget.



Previous work experience in warehouse distribution with a labor intensive pick and pack environment and a 4 year college degree in distribution, logistics, transportation or equivalent. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Proficient with mainframe and personal computers (e.g. AS400, IBM PC, and Microsoft Sofware including Outlook, Excel, and Word). Employment subject to satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
