We currently have an opportunity for Remote Support Specialist in Atlanta, GA. This is a Long Term Supplemental position that may last up to 3 years. You will provide remote technical support assistance to customers and IBM technical personnel on multiple products in the SAN and NAS environments. Example: CNT, McDATA, NetApp, and Brocade. You will determine appropriate actions to resolve problems, and communicate the solution or action plan to the customer or IBM service representative. You may also provide hardware or software technical support assistance to customers and IBM personnel in multi-vendor, multi-protocol networks/systems in the high availability product environment. You will use networking knowledge to resolve problems involving hardware, microcode, operating system, configuration, application programs, and network issues. Major Field of Study: Computer Related Field. All qualified applicants should have SAN / NAS Technical Knowledge, Analyze Problems / Situations, Apply Problem Solving Techniques, Use of Spoken and Written Language, and Customer Service Skills.
